President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed new khyakims of Mary and Lebap velayats.
As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the head of state signed the relevant decrees during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the government's work for the first half of 2025 were summed up.
Begenchmyrat Orazov has been dismissed from his post as the hyakim of the Mary velayat. He has been replaced by Dovranberdi Annaberdiyev.
Maksat Annanepesov has been dismissed from his post as the hyakim of the Lebap velayat. The current chairman of the State Committee for Water Management of Turkmenistan, Durdy Genjiyev, has been appointed the new head of the regional administration, and, according to the decree, he will hold both positions.
