The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the International Textile Forum, which took place on July 8 in Dushanbe.
As reported on the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan, representatives of government agencies, business circles and leading textile companies from Central Asian countries and other regions participated in the forum.
At the forum, Turkmenistan presented the country's key achievements in the production of high-quality cotton products, the introduction of modern technologies, the expansion of export supplies and the development of a full production cycle in the textile industry.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Turkmen side held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of specialized companies from Tajikistan and other countries, during which they discussed prospects for business cooperation, exchange of experience and technology.
Representatives of the Turkmen delegation also visited textile enterprises in Dushanbe, including the Guliston factory. During these visits, possible areas of cooperation in the textile industry were discussed, the source notes.
