Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China from August 31 to September 3. This was announced by the head of state's aide for international affairs Yuri Ushakov in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin. According to him, during the visit, the Russian leader will take part in a number of international events.
Ushakov stressed that Putin's four-day stay in China is "an extremely rare occurrence" in terms of the length of a foreign trip. The visit is expected to be an important stage in the development of Russian-Chinese relations and will be accompanied by a busy program of meetings.
