1. National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will pay a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan to participate in the International Economic Forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum". Turkmenistan's participation in this event is considered in the context of expanding strategic partnership with the Russian Federation and strengthening ties with the Islamic world.
2. During his visit to Kazan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people will hold a number of meetings with the Russian leadership and high-ranking representatives of the Russian government.
3. The forum is hosting the international exhibition "Russia Halal Expo 2025", where the national exposition of Turkmenistan is traditionally one of the most representative. It showcases a wide range of products from Turkmen manufacturers, which, according to experts, meet high international quality standards.
4. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on moving the day off associated with the celebration of the Constitution and National Flag Day of Turkmenistan from May 18 to 19. The decree requires all departments, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, to ensure its implementation.

5. A charity event for children was held in Turkmenistan. Members of the Council of Elders of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation visited the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Arkadag and the capital's “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace. 6. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has announced the start of accepting documents for admission to higher educational institutions of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China for the 2025/2026 academic year for higher professional education programs. Documents are accepted from May 12 to 21 at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
7. The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Turkmenistan Kestutis Vaskelevičius. During the meeting, the Speaker of the Mejlis acquainted the Ambassador with the main directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, as well as with the successfully implemented large-scale national programs and comprehensive reforms, the structure of the Mejlis and its multifaceted work.

1. Italian artist Salvatore Garau made an unusual deal by selling his invisible sculpture Io Sono (“I Am”) at Art-Rite for 18 thousand USD. The buyer of this “immaterial work of art” received a certificate of authenticity and special instructions: to display the sculpture in a free space measuring two by two meters without any obstacles. Garau based his concept on physical and philosophical principles. He argues that even a vacuum is not an absolute void. According to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, "empty" space is filled with energy that can transform into particles, including human beings.

1. At the World Fudokan Karate Championship among children in Poland, Turkmen athletes won 21 medals - 7 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze. The tournament was held in the Polish city of Pulawy and brought together about 3000 athletes from 47 countries.
