At the World Fudokan Karate Championship among children in Poland, Turkmen athletes won 21 medals – 7 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze, the Traditional Karate Federation of Turkmenistan reported.

The tournament was held from May 4 to 13 in the Polish city of Pulawy and brought together about 3,000 athletes from 47 countries.

The gold medals for the national team of Turkmenistan were brought by: Nurgeldy Annagurbanov, Hemra Begjanov, Maksatgeldy Geldiyev, Selim Muratdurdyev, Eziz Zekeryayev, Cherkez Muratdurdyev, Ibrahim Shagulyev.

The silver medals were won by: Maksatgeldy Geldiyev, Kemal Atayev, Meilis Charyev, Bazarbay Odayev, Yhlas Annagurbanov.

Bronze medals were awarded to: Serdar Bayryev, Islam Ulugbekov, Khemra Begdzhanov, Eziz Zekeryaev, Kemal Ataev, Silap Toylymyradov, Meilis Charyev, Bazarbay Odaev.
