Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova participated in a working meeting of deputy foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and representatives of the European Union, which was held in a video conference format.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the talks, cooperation between the Central Asian countries and the European Union in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres was discussed.
The parties examined in detail the organizational issues of holding the upcoming meetings in the “European Union – Central Asia” format, scheduled for March and April 2025.
The meeting participants noted a significant intensification of relations between the Central Asian countries and the European Union at the highest political level.
