Specialists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory warn of impending geomagnetic activity, Lenta.ru reports.

Currently, the plasma cloud is moving towards the Earth and will reach it approximately at 19:00 on June 4. Streams of charged particles will burst into the atmosphere, causing a magnetic storm of category G3 - a strong storm.

The storm is expected to peak at midnight and last until 06:00 on June 5.

Magnetic storms can negatively affect the well-being of people, especially those dependent on weather conditions, as well as the operation of some technical systems.
