President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to take the necessary measures to conduct an audit of the annual financial statements of domestic banking institutions in accordance with international standards.
This instruction was announced at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, writes TDH.
As Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov said, proper work on conducting an audit of financial statements of banks was carried out on the basis of the Laws of Turkmenistan “On Credit Institutions and
Banking Activities” and “On Auditing Activities”, as well as the Resolution of the Head of State “On the Accounting and Audit Reform Program in Turkmenistan."
