The Turkmenistan national hockey team won a crushing victory over the Thai team in its first match at the 2024 World Junior Championships in the third division of Group B. The meeting ended with a score of 7:2 (2:0, 2:1, 3:1).

As part of the Turkmen team, Serdar Durdyev made a poker, Shohrat Begliev, Perman Shamuhammedov and Elman Isayev scored a puck.

Let us remind you that the tournament takes place from March 4 to 7 in Cape Town. Teams from Turkmenistan, Thailand, Hong Kong and South Africa are fighting for a ticket to the third division of Group A.

Today, March 5, Maksat Atayev’s team will play against Hong Kong and will finish the tournament on March 7 against the hosts of the championship, the South African team.
