The Qatar national team defeated the Iranian team with a score of 3:2 in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup. Jassem Abdulsallam (17th minute), Akram Afif (43) and Ali Almoes (82) scored for the winners. Serdar Azmoun (4) and Alireza Jahanbagshy (51, from the penalty spot) scored for the losers.

In the final, the Qatar team will play against the Jordan team. The meeting will be on February 10.
