1. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Mary velayat, where he held a working meeting with the participation of the velayat hyakim and the deputy hyakim for education, culture, health and sports. One of the main topics of the workshop was the development of the region, in particular, the introduction of advanced technologies in agriculture. Special attention was paid to the issues of patriotic education of youth and holding events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. The working trip of the head of the Halk Maslahaty to Mary velayat continues.
3. The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Production of the country, took part in the Third Forum on Minerals of the Future in Riyadh. Within the framework of the event, the Turkmen delegation participated in a ministerial round table and thematic sessions, where issues of the future of mining and minimizing the impact of production on the environment were discussed.
4. A series of thematic educational and methodological conferences dedicated to the environmental Sustainable Development Goals were held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan in the city of Mary. The conferences were held for students and teachers of the institute with the aim of in-depth acquaintance with the logic, objectives and meaning of each of the 17 SDGs.
5. Gas workers of the state concern “Turkmengas” received an industrial flow of gas at well №2 of the Yylan field in the Mary velayat of Turkmenistan. According to experts, more than 820 thousand cubic meters of clean gas without hydrogen sulfide are produced daily at the well. An industrially significant influx of blue fuel was obtained at a depth of 2856 to 2852 meters.

6. Kazakh doctors have developed a unique device for long-term organ transplantation. It permits not only to store donor organs for more than a day, but even to treat them outside the body. The device is unique and has no analogues in the world. This year, scientists will conduct clinical trials of the new device and prepare it for mass production.
7. Dublin topped the ranking of world cities by the amount of time residents spent in traffic jams in 2023. Last year, residents of the Irish capital lost 158 hours in traffic jams. The time spent on the road increased by 66% compared to the situation in the absence of traffic, which also became a record among various cities.

8. The Turkmenistan Ice Hockey Championship started with the match “Shir” - “Merdana”, in which the team of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations won with a score of 3:0. The national championship meetings are hosted by the ice arena of the “Galkan” Winter Sports Center. It is also planned to use the ice arenas of the “National Olympic Sports Palace” and the “Winter Sports Complex” to host the games.
9. The opening match of the Asian Cup in Qatar with the participation of the tournament hosts and the Lebanese national team was entrusted to the Iranian referee Alireza Faghani. For Faghani, this tournament will be the third in a row, and the match between Qatar and Lebanon will be the eighth at the Asian Cup. An international team from Australia and the Republic of Korea has been appointed to assist Fagani. For the first time in the history of AFC tournaments, a female referee, Margaret Jaswich from Australia, will work as an assistant VAR.
