1. Within the framework of a working visit to Tashkent to participate in the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The heads of the two states discussed the prospects for expanding mutually beneficial partnership in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying economic cooperation within the framework of the ECO.

2. Today in Ashgabat, at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held the grand opening of the International Exhibition “Turkmentel-2023”, dedicated to the development of the telecommunications sector. Over 200 representatives of the IT sector from around the world and Turkmenistan take part in the forum. The event is organized by the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

3. The volume of Turkmen gas supplies to Iraq will amount to 9 billion cubic meters per year. The corresponding Protocol on the main commercial terms of the agreement on the sale, purchase and sale of Turkmen natural gas to the Republic of Iraq was signed following a meeting between representatives of the State Concern “Turkmengas” and the delegation of the Republic of Iraq.

4. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care sent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. Assistance is primarily intended for Palestinian children, as noted in the relevant Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The humanitarian cargo consists of medicines and medical supplies, textile products, including clothing for children and bedding sets, as well as footwear and food products.

5. The Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan has announced the program of the IV International Festival “Theater Art of the Age of Happiness”, which will be held in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag on November 14 – 16. The program includes both performances by Turkmen theaters and guest performances. Creative groups from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan will arrive in Turkmenistan to participate in the festival.

6. Hunters in Florida caught a giant dark tiger python weighing 90 kilograms. A team of five people was involved in catching the reptile. The length of the python was 5 meters. The remains of a deer were found in the stomach of a captured python. Dusky tiger pythons are an invasive species in Florida. They pose a threat to local fauna as they can eat large animals, thereby changing the ecosystem and disrupting biodiversity.

7. A large-scale failure in the system of Australia's second largest provider left several million residents of the country's east coast without mobile communications and the Internet. The cause of the failure is currently unknown. The government rules out the possibility of a cyber attack. Representatives of the provider company note that they are doing everything possible to restore communication, but do not give specific deadlines for completing the work.

8. On November 10, Turkmen fighter Eziz Penjiyev will enter the octagon of the popular Russian promotion Fight Nights. He faces a difficult test - a 3 round fight against Sergei Tolmachev. Eziz Penjiyev is a fighter in the bantamweight category. He holds the title of Master of Masters in judo and is the winner of the Moscow Cup and Championship in combat sambo. For the Turkmen athlete, this fight will be his debut in the Fight Nights rings.

9. Today at the “Ashgabat” stadium there will be a match between “Merv” and “Altyn Asyr”. On the eve of the meeting, the head coaches of the teams shared their expectations for the upcoming game.

– We are very serious about this game. The first game showed that we could play with “Altyn Asyr” on equal terms, but we lacked experience and concentration at the end of the game. We will make adjustments and try to maintain a positive result. The team is in a fighting mood”, - noted “Merv” head coach Vitaly Alikperov.
