The final round of the competition among embroiderers was held in Ashgabat, in which craftswomen from all over Turkmenistan took part, announced the “MIR 24” TV channel.
The competition was held in three categories: preparatory part of the work, choice of pattern, demonstration of finished embroidered products.
The jury assessed every detail, down to the position of the fabric on the knees and the ability to hold the needle correctly.
As a result, the Grand Prix of the competition was won by craftswomen from Ahal velayat, the source notes.
Let us remind that the qualifying stages were held among embroiderers at the etrap, city and velayat levels. The most skilled craftswomen took part in the final round.
