On the eve of the new academic year, the Children's Fund of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan held a charity event aimed at helping children from needy families, according to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
At the solemn ceremony, which was held in the office of the organization, the pupils of specialized boarding schools, preschool institutions, as well as children from large families were presented with sets of stationery. They included notebooks, diaries, colored pencils, sketchbooks, paints, plasticine, pens and other accessories necessary for study.
Particular attention was paid to first-graders who will sit at school desks for the first time. They were presented with school backpacks with a full set of stationery.
The charity event of the Children's Fund of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan has become a good tradition, which is joined by various public and private institutions, individual entrepreneurs and volunteers.
