The President of Turkmenistan left for Hungary on a working visit

Early this morning, at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for a working visit to Budapest, the Turkmen TV news program Watan reported.

At the Ashgabat International Airport, the head of Turkmenistan was seen off by officials.

During the trip, the President of Turkmenistan will hold talks with the head of the Government of Hungary, and will also visit the World Athletics Championships that started in Budapest. Together with the Presidents of Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina and other distinguished guests, the head of Turkmenistan will witness the final 100-meter race among men, after which a solemn reception will take place in the Carmelite monastery, as well as the most spectacular fireworks in Europe on the occasion of the celebrated today is the main public holiday of the country - St. Stephen's Day, the first founding king of the Hungarian state.
