The International Kurash Association (IKA) will visit Turkmenistan to familiarize themselves with the preparations for the World Championship in this belt wrestling, which will be held in Ashgabat in November 2023, reports the “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” edition.

The IKA delegation will include representatives from Iran, India and Uzbekistan. They will meet with Turkmen sports organizations and visit the Olympic village, where the tournament will be held.

Turkmenistan has extensive experience in holding international competitions and hopes for the success of its wrestlers, who won three medals at the last World Kurash Championship in India.
