Turkmenistan continues to modernize the system of education and science, aimed at strengthening the intellectual potential of society. Over the past six months, significant progress has been made in this area, the MIC of Turkmenistan reports.

Among them:

1. 537 Turkmen specialists from educational structures have been trained abroad to exchange experience and improve their skills.

2. 2. At the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, UNESCO Chairs were established, which are international educational and research centers.

3. UNESCO clubs "Languages of the World", "Culture of Peace" and "Protection of the environment - an important concept of sustainable development" have been opened in the universities of the country.

4. In the city of Arkadag, for the first time, students are being recruited to the Aba Annaev International Horse Breeding Academy, new specialized educational institutions have opened, such as the Pedagogical Secondary Vocational School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev, the Specialized School of Arts named after Saha Jepbarov and the Medical Secondary Vocational School named after Sachly Dursunova.

5. The efficiency of scientific research has been increased, 1,696 textbooks, teaching aids, and programs have been approved.

6. 1 thousand 362 people presented their developments at the competition of scientific works among the youth of Turkmenistan. 67 young scientists won prizes.

7. The International Scientific Conference "Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Era of the Revival of the New Era of a Powerful State" was held, timed to coincide with the Day of Science. The conference brought together representatives of the scientific community from Turkmenistan and dozens of foreign countries.
