Today Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of workers of culture and art, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated compatriots, workers of culture and art.

As stated in the congratulatory Address, great progress is being made in the country in all areas, the economic power of the independent state is steadily growing, thereby supporting a peaceful and happy life of the people of Turkmenistan. Today, constitutional reforms are being successfully implemented, designed to ensure law and order in the state, to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens.

“Significant events in the life of our sovereign Motherland inspire workers of culture and art to creative work, great achievements and the creation of new works. Their contribution to the promotion of historical transformations in the country and increasing its international prestige in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state is significant”, - the President notes.

The construction of the Magtymguly Fragi cultural and park complex in Ashgabat continues at an accelerated pace. Today, the work of the poet-philosopher Magtymguly is known all over the world, it is the melody of the soul of Turkmens.

“Culture is the creative force of the nation! Art is an exceptional manifestation of the triumph of spiritual and cultural values! Literature is an inexhaustible treasury of literary values!” - the head of state stressed.

Addressing the figures of culture and art, the President outlined the tasks facing them today.

“Media workers are faced with huge tasks to reveal the essence of large-scale state programs being implemented in our Motherland. Therefore, optimization and digitalization of the activities of television and radio channels, newspapers and magazines, electronic publications, as well as professional development of journalists is one of the important tasks. Each publication in the media must be impeccable in terms of national identity and modernity”, - the head of state concluded, wishing good health, family happiness and great success in creativity.
