The head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on October 20-21, announced the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.
This became known during the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, which was held on October 16 in Ashgabat. Head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for the visit to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to Meredov, a draft program of the visit has been prepared, during which the signing of a package of bilateral documents is envisaged.
It should be noted that during the visit of the Uzbek leader to Turkmenistan, the grand opening of the “Tashkent” culture and recreation park in Ashgabat is expected.
