On the occasion of 30th anniversary since the day of establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, the Day of Turkmen Culture will be organized in Kaliningrad for the first time.
The event will be held on September 24 by the Moscow Society of Turkmen culture together with the organizational committee of the Moscow International Art Festival “Dutar sounds” named after Nury Halmammedov with the aim of creation of a common spiritual space for different countries and nations.
Within the framework of the event, the audience will get familiarized with classical Turkmen music and literature, decorative and applied arts.
A concert of chamber-instrumental and vocal music “Turkmen Rhapsody” will be given in the organ hall of the Kaliningrad Philharmonic, in which composer, pianist, laureate of All-Russian and international competitions Mammed
Huseynov, artist of the “Helikon Opera” Musical Theater Darya Huseynova, pianist, laureate of All-Russian and international competitions Yelisey Babanov will take part. The works of Turkmen composers will also be performed on the organ by Philharmonic artist Maria Gavrilyuk.
The concert starts at 18.00.
