The national futsal team of Turkmenistan will play two friendly matches with the team of Azerbaijan in Baku.
The matches will be held on August 17 and 19 at the Baku Sports Palace, informs Azerisport.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team is on the 13th line in the world ranking of futsal. The Turkmenistan team is on the 64th.
We remind that from September 27 to October 8, 2022, the Asian Futsal Cup will be held in Kuwait. 16 national teams will compete for the title of the strongest team in the Asian Cup. The national team of Turkmenistan will play in the final tournament in group "B" against Uzbekistan, Bahrain and Tajikistan. Turkmen futsal players will perform for the 7th time in the final part of the Asian Cup. They have previously participated in this tournament in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012.
