The international flight of “Turkmenistan” Airlines took off from Ashgabat to Dubai – this is the first foreign flight from Turkmenistan after the partial resumption of international flights.
The flight T5 817 on a Boeing 737-82K aircraft took off from Ashgabat airport to Dubai at 12 noon.
Earlier, the company informed that flights from Ashgabat to Dubai would be operated once a week on Mondays. The return flight T5 818 will also take off on Mondays at 15:20 (local time).
Let us remind that regular flights between Turkmenistan and the UAE were suspended in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Along with the “Turkmenistan” Airlines, charter flights from the UAE were carried out by foreign airlines.
The direct flights from Ashgabat to Kazan will be resumed starting June 1.
