Early presidential elections started in Turkmenistan on March 12. Turkmen citizens will have to choose a head of state from 9 candidates.

Voting at the polling stations is broadcast online on the website of the Central Election Commission.

25,24% of voters had voted by 9 o’clock in Ashgabat.

25,78% in Ahgabat, 25,03% in Ahal velayat, 27,40% in Balkan velayat, 25,68% in Dashoguz, 24,37% in Lebap 24,64% in Mary, informs the CEC of Turkmenistan.

Also it is noted, that 7,9% of voters chose to give their votes during the early voting from March 2 to 11.
