In early February, an extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) will be held, at which the Development Program of Turkmenistan for the next 30 years will be considered and approved, as well as the results of work in 2021 will be summed up and tasks for the current year will be outlined. This proposal was made by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today, reported the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television.
The overall coordination of all work related to the extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslahaty was entrusted to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh Gulshat Mammedova and Deputy Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Kasymguly Babayev.
Emphasizing the importance of the path traversed over the years of the country's independent development, as well as determining its strategic course for the next thirty years, the Turkmen leader said: "We bear great responsibility for the fate of our state and the future of our descendants."
