President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated Alar Karis on taking office as President of the Republic of Estonia, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported today.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the new head of Estonia good health and energy, great success in all undertakings aimed at the progress and prosperity of the friendly Estonian people, the statement said.
Alar Karis, 63, took the oath of office in parliament on Monday and officially took office as President of Estonia.
