Tomorrow, on August 6, the third consultative meeting of the presidents of the Central Asian countries will take place in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone in Turkmenistan.

Already in the afternoon, the delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, led by national leaders, will arrive in Avaza. Also, the event will be attended by the heads of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.

Within the framework of the summit, the Economic Forum of the Central Asian countries, the first Dialogue of Women Leaders of the Region's countries, an international exhibition of national products and a festival of national dishes will work.

The events will be held in different places of Avaza, thus the guests of the forum will have the opportunity to see the pearl of the Turkmen Caspian in all its glory.

Thus, the presidential meeting and the Economic Forum will be held at the “Avaza” Congress Center, and the Women's Dialogue at the “Berkarar” Hotel. The expositions of the international exhibition will be located in the spacious pavilion of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port.

During the exhibition, which plans to run for 2 days, presentations from each country will be presented. In total, over 250 exhibitors will take part in the exhibition.

As President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted at the meeting on the preparation of these events:

“The upcoming meetings are designed to promote the expansion of relations and effective partnership between the countries of the region.”

For the participants of this major forum, sightseeing tours around Avaza, acquaintance with modern objects of the tourist zone are planned.

At the end of the day, a gala concert will take place, which will bring together art masters from Central Asia on one stage.

As previously reported, initially the third meeting of the heads of Central Asian countries was planned to be held last year in Kyrgyzstan, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting was postponed to 2021. In October last year, the President of Turkmenistan proposed holding a Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Turkmenistan.

The first summit of the heads of state of Central Asia was held in 2018 in Nur-Sultan, the second in 2019 in the capital of Uzbekistan.
