Today, on the first day of his official visit to Ashgabat, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov visited the Turkmenbashi Spirituality Mosque in Kipchak, where he paid tribute to the memory of the first President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov, laying flowers at his family mausoleum, reports vesti.kg.
Then the Kyrgyz leader proceeded to the Independence National Park, located in the south of the capital. Here, the head of Kyrgyzstan laid a wreath at the foot of the Monument of Independence of Turkmenistan.
Then, accompanied by a company of the guard of honor, Sadyr Zhaparov went to the Alley of Honored Guests, where he planted a tree. This landmark of the Turkmen capital is a kind of symbol of Turkmenistan's policy of peacefulness, friendship and good-neighborliness.
