Today newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Han Vali Han Basharmal presented the copies of diplomatic credentials to the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. This news came from foreign service of our country.

The Parties expressed mutual adherence to further development of Turkmen – Afghan relations in all spheres of cooperation by underlining the high level of the relations in political and diplomatic directions. 

The importance of major joint infrastructure projects is highlighted, particularly, the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, power transmission lines and fiber-optic communication along the Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan route, the construction of railways from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan. The aspirations of Turkmenistan to facilitate the involvement of Afghanistan in the processes of world economic integration, including through the creation of favorable transport and transit hubs, were highly 

The diplomats also discussed current state and perspectives of cooperation in the direction of education, culture, scientific exchanges. 

The ambassador Han Vali Han Basharmal expressed his gratitude to Turkmen side for all-round support shown to Afghanistan. It referred to humanitarian assistance, including construction of social objects on the territory of Afghanistan, such as schools, healthcare centers and the mosque opened recently ceremoniously.
