On November 4, a celebratory event was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan to mark the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan. As the diplomatic mission informed the NIAT "Khovar" news agency, the significance of this date—which is observed annually in Tajikistan on November 6—was highlighted during the gathering.
Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Vafo Niyatbekzoda, highlighted the role of the country’s President, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, in the drafting and adoption of the Constitution. According to the ambassador, the document, by expressing the will of the Tajik people, established a solid foundation for strengthening a sovereign, democratic, law-based, secular, and unitary state.
