Turkmen football club «Arkadag” defeated Iran’s “Gol Gohar” 1–0 in a fourth-round group stage match of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Two. The only goal of the match was scored by Ahmet Atayev in the 77th minute.

This victory marks Arkadag’s second win in group “B”. After four matches, Vladimir Bayramov’s team has seven points. “Gol Gohar”, with two points, remains in last place.

The hosts held a slight advantage. In the first half, Resul Hojayev delivered some dangerous shots: in the fourth minute, he fired over the bar, and four minutes before the break, his attempt narrowly missed the top corner. The visitors had a chance to open the scoring in the 19th minute, but “Arkadag” goalkeeper Kakageldy Berdiyev made a diving save to deny the shot.

In the 64th minute of the second half, Hojayev struck the crossbar. In the 76th minute, a shot by Arzuvguly Sapargulyev was parried by “Gol Gohar” goalkeeper Farzin Garousian. A minute later, following a cross from the left by Sapargulyev, the visiting defense only partially cleared the ball, and Atayev sent it into the net with a low left-footed strike. With six minutes remaining, Garousian used his legs to make a save after Sapargulyev attempted to redirect the ball into the net.

For “Arkadag”, the group stage will conclude with an away match against Bahrain’s “Al-Muharraq” on November 25 and a home match against the UAE’s “Al-Jazira” on December 9. The top two teams from each group will advance to the tournament’s round of 1/8. Matches for this stage will take place between February 9 and 18, 2027.
