The Turkmenistan boxing team has concluded its campaign at the XX Summer Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. All five of the country's representatives in the sport have already competed in their bouts.

Eleven sets of medals are being contested in the boxing tournament at the 2026 Asian Games—six for men and five for women. Turkmenistan was represented by five boxers, all of whom were eliminated in the preliminary round.

Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov (under 70 kg), a 24-year-old International Master of Sports and bronze medalist at the Hangzhou Games, lost to Ali Abdulla of Bahrain via a 1–4 split decision. In the bout between Dovlet Mukhanov (under 60 kg) and Jayawardhana Gunasila of Sri Lanka, the judges also awarded the victory to the opponent by a narrow 3–2 margin.

Daniyar Rozmetov (under 55 kg) and 19-year-old Abdyrahman Yklymov (under 80 kg) lost 0–5. Their opponents were Kangpi Bokhunthod from Thailand and Nekruz Salimov from Tajikistan, respectively.

Dovlet Islamov (over 90 kg) was the last to step into the Asian Games ring on September 25. He lost his bout against Myrzakir Koshaliev of Kyrgyzstan by a score of 2–3.

The XX Summer Asian Games are taking place in Nagoya from September 19 to October 4. Turkmenistan’s delegation consists of 57 members, including 34 athletes competing in eight sports. The team’s only medal so far—a silver—was won by karateka Davut Nazmyradov in the under-75 kg weight category.
