A meeting took place today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mahri Bashimova, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov.

The diplomats emphasized the effectiveness of the long-standing strategic partnership based on the principles of good-neighborliness, trust, and mutual respect, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

Particular attention was paid to further improving mechanisms for political and diplomatic interaction, as well as to coordinating efforts on international and regional platforms, primarily within the framework of the UN.

Substantive discussions were held regarding the organization of upcoming joint events aimed at deepening the interstate dialogue.
