Today in the city of Kronenberg (Netherlands) the world equestrian championship and beauty contest among Ahal-Teke horses will start.

The organizers of the event are the state association "Turkmen horses" and the European Association of Ahal-Teke horses. The event is dedicated to the Year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - Homeland of Celestial Winged Jumpers".

Equestrian competitions, horse beauty contest, international scientific conference on the Ahal-Teke horse breed, presentations of Turkmen culture and traditions will be held as part of the events. The guests are also invited to the performances of the National Equestrian Games Group "Galkynysh" and the State Circus of Turkmenistan. The teachers and students of the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy are also actively involved in the organizational work, the newspaper "Turkmenistan" reports.

Representatives from approximately 30 countries are expected to participate in the Cronenberg event. More than 100 of them will take part in the international scientific-practical conference on Ahal-Teke horses. The forum consists of the main session and 5 sections, where the achievements in the development of equestrian art in Turkmenistan, the history and development of the Ahal-Teke horse breed, the importance of including the Ahal-Teke equestrian art and the tradition of horse decoration in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as well as issues related to the scientific study of the equestrian industry will be discussed.

Among the speakers at the forum were well-known professionals and breeders from Italy, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Great Britain, France and the United States.

On the square of the famous Pilbergen equestrian complex, intended for cultural events, the national culture of the Turkmen people shines in all its diversity. Seven countries have been erected here, where the traditions and customs of the people, national costumes and arts, as well as the process of wedding ceremonies are presented.

In addition, guests will visit stands that reflect the traditions of horse breeding in Europe.

Within the framework of the official reception, a concert of masters of culture and art will take place. It is expected that Turkish, Italian and German singers will also perform in Turkmenistan along with famous bagshy and pop stars.

Famous artists and students of creative specialties from Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of foreign countries, took part in the contest of artworks dedicated to the Ahal-Teke people announced within the framework of the Cronenberg events. The competition featured paintings, sculptures, jewelry, carpet work, and photography.
