Football club “Arkadag”, led by head coach Vladimir Bayramov, defeated “Ashgabat” 3-0 in a rescheduled match of the 20th round of the Turkmenistan Championship, achieving their 100th consecutive victory in the national championship.

The 100th match took place on Wednesday at “Nisa” stadium in Ashgabat. The winning goals were scored by Altymyrat Annadurdyyev (19th minute), Didar Durdyyev (63rd), and Velmyrat Ballakov (67th).

“Arkadag” was founded in 2023 and is a three-time champion of Turkmenistan (2023, 2024, 2025). The team won 24 matches in its first season, 30 in its second, and 28 last season. The club has already won its first 18 matches in the current 2026 season.

Thanks to the victory over “Ashgabat”, “Arkadag” earned 54 points and is now a clear leader in the standings. Their closest rivals are “Ahal” (36 points) and “Altyn Asyr” (35 points).

The Turkmen club is currently preparing for the AFC Champions League II group stage. In group “B”, “Arkadag” will face “Al-Jazira” (UAE), Iran's “Gol Gohar”, and Bahrain's “Al-Muharraq”.

A total of 32 teams will take part in the group stage of the tournament, divided into eight groups - four each in the Western and Eastern zones. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The first matches of the group stage will be held on September 15-17, the final of the tournament will take place on May 15, 2027.
