Representatives of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan took part in the regional summer training program for Central Asian youth, "Climate-Youth-Mountains," the university reported.

The program, organized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), took place from August 16 to 22 in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. During the event, participants took part in training sessions, discussions, and practical activities focused on climate change, environmental protection, the preservation of mountain ecosystems, and the role of youth in addressing environmental issues in the region.

As noted, Turkmen representatives proposed initiatives to ensure environmental well-being in the region. Following the program, participants were awarded certificates.

The university emphasized that participation in the event facilitated the exchange of international experience among young people and strengthened regional cooperation on environmental issues.
