A young artist from Turkmenistan performed at the “Druzhba” gala concert in Moscow

A young Turkmen artist, Ayshat Rejepova, captivated the audience at the "Friendship" gala concert in Moscow, the central event of the V International Children's Cultural Forum, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia.

Rejepova, a student at the Special Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, performed the piece "My Dutar" to the music of the outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov. According to the organizers, the audience was particularly enthusiastic about the combination of national dance, the sounds of folk instruments, and modern rhythms.

Halmamedov's work, which incorporates the rich traditions of Turkmen culture, continues to resonate not only in the composer's homeland but also far beyond its borders, the statement noted.

The International Children's Cultural Forum is held annually and brings together creatively gifted children from Russia and several other countries. The forum offers young participants the opportunity to interact with leading educators, performers, government officials, and public figures, showcase their talents, exchange experiences, and share their ideas for developing culture and self-realization in the arts.
