Yesterday, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Mashhad held a roundtable discussion on the significance of the upcoming regular meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as well as the United Nations General Assembly resolution "Year of International Law, 2028," adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the event was attended by representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, the magazines "Magtymguly adyndaky" and "Gülistan ykdysady", the news agencies "Ülkämiz" and "Sedaýe Gonbad", and representatives of the cultural and healthcare sectors.

Guests were treated to an exhibition of books by Turkmenistan's leaders, works of decorative and applied art, and fine art, as well as photographs reflecting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.

At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the further promotion of Turkmenistan's peace initiatives and enhancing their international significance.
