The Ambassador of Turkmenistan and the new Special Representative of the Japanese Foreign Ministry discussed cooperation issues

Today, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A. Bayramov, and the newly appointed Special Representative of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Central Asia and the Caucasus, T. Ishigaka.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as issues related to high-level visits.

The parties emphasized the rapid development of bilateral friendly relations and exchanged views on future areas of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was paid to organizing a high-level meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committees on Economic Cooperation, which is planned to be held in Tokyo in December.
