Turkmenistan plans to expand production of therapeutic mud and sea salt

The products of the therapeutic mud and sea salt packaging plant, located in the village of Jebel in western Turkmenistan, are regularly supplied to sanatoriums, healthcare facilities, treatment and rehabilitation centers, hospitals, health centers, and pharmacies throughout the country.

The facility has the capacity to produce 400 thousand packages of therapeutic and cosmetic products annually, including 200 thousand packages of Mollakara mud, as well as 100 thousand packages of volcanic mud and sea salt, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The production is equipped with advanced high-tech equipment from Italy, Türkiye, Japan, Belgium and France.

Turkmenistan is rich in natural resources for treatment and wellness. These include healing mud and sea salt, which play an important role in wellness practices. Lake Mollakara, famous for its silty mud, is widely known not only in the country but also worldwide. In recent years, the cosmetic properties of Mollakara mud have been studied in detail, and its positive effects on the skin have been confirmed: it stimulates cell regeneration, improves tone, normalizes subcutaneous blood circulation, and leaves the skin soft and refreshed.

Mud from the unique volcanoes located in the Esenguly etrap of the Balkan velayat also possesses remarkable healing properties. Containing numerous valuable microelements, it is widely used in cosmetology and medicine, as well as for the treatment of skin, cardiovascular, and intestinal diseases, as well as infertility.

From January to August, the company delivered hundreds of packages of healing mud and sea salt to consumers and aims to further increase volumes and expand its product range.
