Today, India celebrates its national holiday, Independence Day. On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government, as well as on his own behalf, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of India Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the people of the country.

In particular, the message states:

"We highly value the constructive cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India. Today, interstate relations are expanding and gaining new substantive content in various areas. We support the further development of bilateral cooperation in the interests of our peoples."

Taking this opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the leadership of India with wishes of good health and happiness, and the people of the country with peace, progress and prosperity, TDH reports.
