A service for autonomous decision-making regarding invalidating a foreign citizen's patent due to non-payment of an advance payment has been launched in Russia. This was announced by the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry reminded that foreigners working in Russia are required to make monthly advance payments, otherwise their patent will be invalidated. Those paying an advance on behalf of a foreign citizen are advised to provide full details on the payment document: last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth, and taxpayer identification number (TIN).

If a migrant disagrees with the invalidation of their patent, they can contact their local Ministry of Internal Affairs office, providing a payment receipt. The ministry urged timely payment and strict adherence to payment document requirements.
