In the Lebap velayat, preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year have been fully completed, the “Türkmen gündogary” newspaper reports.

As noted, on the eve of the start of the school year, two new modern secondary schools will open in the Charjev and Farap etraps, which will be ceremoniously commissioned.

Currently, there are 393 secondary schools, three auxiliary boarding schools, 284 kindergartens, and a regional health and educational complex operating in the velayat. All of these institutions have undergone routine repairs, as well as landscaping and cleaning of the surrounding areas.

Classrooms were equipped with modern visual aids, multimedia and digital equipment, interactive whiteboards, and language labs. The kindergarten playgrounds and sports grounds were also renovated.
