Today, at the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone, a meeting was held between Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, Xiaojun Grace Wang.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, priority areas of interaction between Turkmenistan and the UN were discussed, as well as issues of further coordination and practical cooperation.

The parties focused on upcoming joint events and the promotion of Turkmenistan's international initiatives within the UN. The importance of joint efforts to ensure environmental sustainability and preserve the Caspian Sea was also noted, the source noted.
