Turkmenistan's freestyle wrestler, Dovletgeldy Muradov, won the PWL Junior tournament, which was held within the framework of the Martial Arts Festival at the “Luzhniki” Arena in Moscow.

In the 92 kg weight class, Muradov faced Russian wrestler Roland Pukhaev, representing North Ossetia. The bout ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the Turkmen athlete.

Muradov is the 2026 Asian U20 Champion. His opponent, Pukhaev, is the bronze medalist at the 2024 European U17 Championships.

The “Luzhniki” Sports Festival, held for the first time, featured competitions and demonstrations in wrestling, karate, and hand-to-hand combat.
