Turkmen mixed martial artist Abdullah Babayev is holding a training camp in Phuket in preparation for his next fight with the Fight Nights promotion, scheduled for late August.

Babayev is an international master of sports in combat sambo, a three-time World Cup winner, and a world and Asian champion in pankration. He signed a contract with Fight Nights Global in early 2024.

The Turkmen athlete's last fight was on February 20, 2026, at Fight Nights 134 in Sochi. His opponent was Russian fighter Ramazan Aliev, who replaced the original participant on the card. The fight ended in a unanimous decision in favor of Aliev—the first defeat of Babayev's professional career. The Turkmen fighter's current record is 5 wins and 1 loss.
