A meeting was held yesterday in the administrative building of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan to summarize the work completed over the first seven months of this year.

As noted, the growth rate of the volume of work performed and services rendered in the transport and communications sector amounted to 114%, according to the ministry's website.

Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate of freight transportation by road, rail, air, sea and river transport reached 103,6%, and the growth rate of passenger transportation was 102,4%.

The volume of services rendered by the Ministry of Railway Transport was fulfilled at 107%, by the Ministry of Automobile Transport - at 118,8%, by the State Service "Turkmenhowayollary" – 118,5%, by the State Service of Maritime and River Transport – 102,1%, and by the Ministry of Communications – 115,5%.
