Cooperation between JETRO and Turkmenportal was discussed in Tokyo

A Turkmenportal representative met with the leadership of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Tokyo. During the meeting, the parties discussed trade and economic cooperation between Japan and Turkmenistan. The meeting was part of a media invitation program organized by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the assistance of the Japanese Embassy in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of interaction between Japan and Turkmenistan, including promising areas of cooperation and its current dynamics.

The Senior Director of Global Strategy at JETRO's Planning Department, responsible for work with Russia, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, met with the Turkmen delegation. He spoke to Turkmenportal about the organization's structure and activities, its key areas of work, and its role in developing business ties between Japan and Central Asian countries.

The parties expressed interest in further strengthening business ties and expanding cooperation between Japan and Turkmenistan in the trade and investment spheres.

JETRO is a government trade and investment promotion organization operating in all prefectures of Japan, as well as in a number of countries worldwide. JETRO's activities include facilitating the overseas expansion of Japanese companies, attracting foreign investment to Japan, promoting the export of Japanese agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, and publishing business analysis and news.
