A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev, arrived in Turkmenbashy on a working visit, where they toured the venue for the finals of the "Tatar Kyzy" International Competition. The event will be held in October 2026, according to the official website of the World Congress of Tatars.

The delegation visited the facilities of the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone, which are being considered as the venue for the competition's final show.

Earlier, Turkmenistan's Minister of Culture, Gurbanmyrat Myradaliev, confirmed the Turkmen side's readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in preparing and hosting the competition's finals. He stated that the implementation of such a significant international project will be a milestone in the country's cultural life and will contribute to the development of humanitarian cooperation.

According to the competition's regulations, the country whose representative won the previous season receives the right to host the final. In 2025, Turkmenistan native Alsu Rafikova won the title, and the final of the "Tatar Kyzy-2025" competition was held in Orenburg.
