At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Deputy Foreign Minister Mahri Bashimova met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.

According to the Foreign Ministry press service, during the conversation, the parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan. Particular attention was paid to the development of humanitarian ties, driven by the two countries' shared cultural and spiritual values.

Organizational issues related to preparations for the final stage of the "Tatar Kyzy-2026" competition, which is planned to be held in Turkmenistan in October of this year, were also discussed.
