President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

As the head of the Turkmen state emphasized: “We highly value the friendly relations between our countries and are confident in their further development and strengthening for the benefit of the peoples of Turkmenistan and Italy.”

Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Sergio Mattarella good health and happiness, and the people of Italy peace, continued progress, and prosperity, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Statesman and politician Sergio Mattarella has been President of Italy since February 3, 2015. In 2011, he was awarded Italy's highest honor, the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. He also holds a number of awards from other countries.
